What is the inspiration behind your project?: I saw a car drive by and they were ALL on their phone, even a little kid, and it’s just so sad that people would rather go on their phones than talk and engage with people. People’s noses are just in their phone too much, it’s an issue.
Reflect on what you hope to communicate through your project: I hope I communicate in the first photo that there’s a whole world outside your phones. The second pic, I want to communicate that phones these days are the only thing that brings us “joy” and not each other. Phones are sparkly and so saturated to us that it makes the real world all grey.
How do you hope your project will make an impact for yourself and/or others? : I hope that people realize phones are making people less social and we’re kinda degrading evolutionary wise because we’re so stuck on our screens and we would rather go on them instead of talking and connecting with others.
