What is the inspiration behind your project?: My inspiration for this piece was the all consuming nature of our devices and social media. We’re always looking at our phones and talking about things on our phones. Even when we’re not interacting with our phones directly, they’re still a big influence on our lives and not always a good one.
Reflect on what you hope to communicate through your project: With this piece I hope to communicate that even when we are not looking at our devices they’re still very much apart of our lives. We’re constantly talking and thinking about them.
How do you hope your project will make an impact for yourself and/or others? : I hope that people will be able to look at this piece connect and relate to what it’s trying to communicate.
